Others present: Yasemin and Orkide Kadaster, Brian and Liliana Sher, Thom Kanaan, Dottie Riebe, Tony Esporma, Jason Cleveland, Ann and Bob Platt of Association Services.

NEW BUSINESS- VISITORS COMMENTS
Riebe:  Mrs Riebe reported that some of the embankments are watered every day and broken heads cause water to run over the sidewalk.  She stated that the sidewalks are for pedestrians.  Mr. Jones said that he problem had been reported to the landscaper and the misdirected sprinkler head(s) had been immediately repaired.

Sher:  Mr. Sher reported that his neighbors installed a jacussin and a barbecue in their backyard without Association approval.  The neighbors are now selling the house.  Mr. Jones said that the Board will take a look and investigate the options.

MANAGER'S REPORT
The manager's report dated 5/28/99 was previously provided.  The following points were discussed.

Landscaping:  The Emporia and Grossmont entrywasy have been planted with flowers.  Both parks will be fertilized thie month.  There have been many broken sprinkler heads due to vandalism.  The association across Turtle Rock Dr. has experienced a great deal of vandalism to sprinkler heads.  In addition, there was a broken irrigation line near the corner of Bethany and Mountain View.

Architectural Control:  Approval letters written.  Platt, 18961 Racine;  Howard, 18712 Saginaw; and Rush, 5041 Alcorn all for paint.  Kuo, 5431 Catowba, paint and air conditioner.  Matten, 5372 Blinn, paint and new entry doors.  Connolly, 5251 Hiram, paint, new landscaping and hardcape.  Guibortd, 19151 Biddle,m paint and new garage doors.  Karpowich, 19001 Racine, new roof.  Booth, 52311 Hiram, rearyard hardscape.

Parks:  A motion was approved to put a tot swing in Emporia Park.  Two end of school and one birthday parties have been scheduled for Grossmont Park.

Walls:  The cost to repair the wall on Turtle Rock Dr. that was damaged by a vehicle will be recovered from the vehicle owner's insurance company.

A notice will be included in the cover letter to all owners advising them that they should contact their insurance agents to obtain "loss assessment" coverage.  This would voer a special assessment that the Association would have to levy in the event of a major earthquake that might destroy the Association walls along Culver and Turtle Rock Dr.

Lights.  Mr. Cleveland displayed pictures of new light fixtures.  The cost is $!400 to $3000 depending on the style.  Funds are available in the reserves in the amount of $2550 for new lights.  Mr. Cleveland will obtain further information on all in one lamps and posts.

COMMITTE REPORTS
Financial:  Mr Luff moved to approve the Budget for the Fiscal year, August 1, 1999 to July 1, 2000 in the amount of $80401.  Mrs Shaver seconded the mnotion and it pased unanimously.  There will be no increase in assessments this year.
Landscaping:  Mrs Shaver reported that the embankments and cul-de-sacs are coming along nicely except where the rabbits ate the newly planted plants.

Architectural:  Approvals:  Ryer, 5441 Catwoba, touch up paint approved, need drawing for the walkway.  Karpowich, 19001 Racine, new roof.  Booth, 5211 Hiram, rear yard hardscape.  Tolliver, 5452 Catowba, air conditioner.

Due to the fourth of July holiday, thre will be no July meeting.  The next meeting will b held on August 2, 1999 a t the TurtleRock Community Park building, 1 Sunny Hill, Irvine.
